Jenny & Jack's E-Session

When Jenny heard we were moving to Ohio, she called me up and asked if I would photograph her upcoming wedding. We agreed on a package and I told her I include an engagement session for free because it is a really great way for me to get to know my couples and for them to get used to being photographed by me. I get a chance to see how they photograph, what type of images they respond to, and they get used to relaxing and forgetting I am there. All of this adds up to better wedding images.

OECC School Photos

OECC, or the Oberlin Early Childhood Center is an amazing facility that provides excellent childcare to working families in the Oberlin area. The Director, Jennifer Harris along with the incredible staff and teachers nurture children and really help families. They have a variety of grants that make it possible for everyone to be able to afford excellent childcare.

Kim & William's Wedding in Brookline, MA

I had been looking forward to this day for a long time now. Kim and William booked me over a year in advance and I have really enjoyed getting to know them in the meantime. They have wonderful style and an incredible love for each other. Their wedding day was no surprise; beautiful, simple, elegant and filled with personal touches. Their vows were incredible and so heartfelt. Laughter and tears – the best things.

Mia's Senior Session

I met Mia at a cookout shortly after we moved back to Oberlin. Her neighbor (the sweetest woman on the planet) had adopted us since we were new in town and wanted us to meet some folks.

The Big Move is Here!

Well, it is finally here. I am shoving off. Our house is sold, our things are in storage. B is already in Ohio at his new job and I am taking off on a road trip with the boys.
I had to try to pack everything we would need for 7 weeks of living without our stored items. Not so easy to come up with this list. I also had to have room in the car for my computer, monitor, hard drives, cameras, and US of course.

Lauren & Todd's Wedding in Groton, MA

Lauren and Todd looked amazing and their day was filled with family and friends and lots of adorable children. I have a soft spot for redheads, and boy did Lauren blow me away. She just looked so beautiful. Todd was totally handsome. It was a wonderful day.

Kim's Boys

Her boys are as cute as ever and we really got to playing while I took their portraits. Kim loves the real and creative portraits, which is my specialty.

Fastachi Product Photos

If you live in the Boston area, you HAVE to stop into their shop in Watertown. You walk in and are hit by these incredible smells of roasted nuts and chocolate. OMG!

Emerson Graduates from Preschool

My big guy graduated from preschool today. He started at Learn and Play Preschool when he was 2 years old, going 2 mornings a week. It was just the break we both needed. He always had a blast there and the teachers are amazing. They somehow managed to teach my son all his letters and the sounds they make without him ever “wanting” to sit and learn these things. Usually he would build with blocks, building his inventions. But the teachers really make learning fun and they encorporate learning into all kinds of activities. So he was learning without actually realizing it. Amazing.

Lauren & Todd's E-Session in Newport, RI

Lauren and Todd are getting married later this summer and when we discussed places for their engagement session they immediately asked if I would travel to Newport, RI. I said of course. I had actually never been to Newport, but I had heard endless stories about the beautiful mansions there. This place is gorgeous. There are mansions along the coast line and you can walk right along the edge of the water and enjoy the views in both directions.
