Maternity + Babies

So just 6 days after Aliviah came into the world, I was at her house documenting this incredibly precious baby. When I arrived, she had just woken up from a super long nap, and she stayed awake and alert for the next hour. What an amazing baby. She was so camera aware, she laughed and smiled when her daddy kissed her. I have never experienced anything quite like it and I love the photos we go as a result.

Rob and Elizabeth contacted me to create some photos before their second child was born. They were busy finishing up various obligations and Elizabeth’s due date was rapidly approaching. We set up a date and crossed our fingers that she wouldn’t deliver before the photo shoot! They really loved my natural and real approach to photography and wanted the photos taken in and around their home.

All the children in this family are gorgeous, but baby Giovanni has the most captivating eyes and the sweetest disposition. I couldn’t help going gaga over him and talking with his wonderful mother.

I had the pleasure of meeting little Eva Lucia today. What a cutie! Look at that hair! None of my kids had much hair as babies, so I am just blown away when they do. So cute. Eva is super aware and a sweet baby. Congratuations you guys!

Ana was referred to me through Meredith and Charles. She is pregnant with her second child, although her first is 16 years old. So, even though she has been through this before, it feels like her first all over again.

Seeing Kelly and her gorgeous belly gave me an idea. I suggested we swap photo sessions since I never get photos taken with ME in them. Well, she happily agreed and I got to meet her wonderful partner Pedro and their beautiful dog Journey.
It was totally my element: natural light, love and fun.
