Welcome Aarohi

Our good friends have just adopted a beautiful little girl named Aarohi which means ascending musical scale. I offered them a sitting as a welcoming present. It is such a miracle to witness a new family being created. Aarohi has a wonderful and hilarious personality and her parents are quickly getting the hang of the parenting thing – they are total naturals.

Elizabeth's Maternity Session

Rob and Elizabeth contacted me to create some photos before their second child was born. They were busy finishing up various obligations and Elizabeth’s due date was rapidly approaching. We set up a date and crossed our fingers that she wouldn’t deliver before the photo shoot! They really loved my natural and real approach to photography and wanted the photos taken in and around their home.

Local Newspaper Coverage of the Studio

There are so many wonderful things about living in a small town including the support I have been receiving for opening a new downtown business. Our local paper just published a front-page article about me and the studio and people have been coming up to me all week talking about it.

Alex and Sandhya's Love-session

Alex approached me with an idea for a surprise anniversary present – a love session with ME! I was thrilled and we set about planning. He took his wife out to breakfast with the request that they dress up a bit, then after breakfast, we met at my studio and SURPRISE!
You don’t have to be engaged or just married to take romantic photos! Book a lovesession today!

Justin's Headshots

I was able to do two sets of headshots today. Justin is a theatre professor at Oberlin College and was super fun to photograph. We came up with a range of looks and I am really thrilled with the outcome.

Sarah's Headshots

Sarah is a recent Oberlin graduate who is embarking on the next phase of her life. She was a theater major, but was also a Peer Health Advocate for the Center for Leadership in Health Promotion at the college. She is interested in education and the arts and has a great job lined up for the fall.

Kevin Ray's Headshots

The challenge with photographing an opera singer is that you have to convey drama and personality and spirit with just their face. You don’t have their instrument to rely on to tell the viewer what they do. The photo has to catch your eye and draw you in.

Eliza's Senior Session

So, we started out in my studio and took advantage of my fun fabric selection as backdrops, then we headed out into nature to find some cool locations. We selected an amazing abandoned farm, a beautiful field and a cool fence.
I love offering a variety of images for my seniors and their families to choose from. Everyone is happy and it is super fun as well.

Hannah J.'s Senior Session

I was happy to create images of Hannah. She is fun and free-spirited and has a great sense of style. She wanted something classic, but was willing to play around with some of my ideas. I think we hit it out of the park. The images I got in my studio (which was my first official session in my new space, btw) are gorgeous and remind me of Brigette Bardot on the one hand, and Doris Day on the other. Just classy and gorgeous.

Baby Giovanni turns ONE!

All the children in this family are gorgeous, but baby Giovanni has the most captivating eyes and the sweetest disposition. I couldn’t help going gaga over him and talking with his wonderful mother.
