I got to meet and photograph Andy when he was acting in Oberlin College’s Summer Theater Festival. He came back and did a full session with me complete with full beard for half and bare-faced for half. I love providing a full variety of headshots for actors/performers. You never know what exactly you are going to need in this ever-changing world. That’s why my full sessions are such a great option. You get 4-5 outfits, a certain number of retouched images, but also all the unretouched images. So, if you think a serious headshot is the way to go one day, you might realize a light smile is better the next day. You sometimes book with a beard and sometimes without – no problem – you have both options ready to go. Andy is an Actor, Director, Producer and Host. Oberlin College Dancer Headshots
I have photographed people doing yoga, and dance ensembles before, directors and performers, but the idea of a dancer’s headshot was new to me. I was contacted by one of the Oberlin College graduating dance majors and I figured I better get educated as to what kind of shots best serve dancers.
