Augusta and Georgina are two talented sisters that have lively careers in the Classical Music World. They grew up in Oberlin and come back from time to time. I photographed Augusta (violin) when she was a student at Oberlin Conservatory and I was excited to meet Georgina (viola) and work with them together. They are putting out a musical release and needed some images of the two of them together for the album and for promotion. We also created some individual images as well. Kat's Headshots
For theater headshots it is really important to figure out what your casting type is. You need to create a look that works for how you tend to be cast. This is something I work on when photographing actors. We try different outfits, expressions, etc. until we get that winning image and I always want some feeling in the eyes.
