Joel and Lydia found out about me through Joel’s mom, who works at Oberlin College. I had done her headshot and she saw my wedding work.
I met with them and we liked each other and they booked a wedding package that included an engagement session. That was a fun day! The wedding was set for the Grey Hawk Golf Club in Lagrange. It is a lovely facility and everyone had a great time. As you can see from the ceremony photos the sun was intense! We did the family photos after the ceremony, but we decided to do the portraits of the couple around sunset. That gave the bride and groom a chance to relax and be “by themselves” for a little bit of the evening.
The DJ was John Kerata from The DJ Crew and he really knew how to get the party started.
