Jane & Hubert's Josaphat Arts Hall Wedding

Jane & Hubert met at a party, dancing. And now that I have been to their wedding and seen Hubert dance, I know why Jane was so intrigued. He is an amazing dancer and a consummate gentleman. But I’m getting ahead of myself.
Jane grew up in the Akron area and Hubert grew up in Burkina Faso, Africa. Throughout their lives they have made friends from around the world, and they love to travel, so their wedding naturally had an international theme. The theme started with their invitations which were made to look like passports, and continued to their beautifully decorated reception with each table featuring the flag of a different country, and their cake which was decorated with panels that looked like old-fashioned postcards.
They had a beautiful ceremony at the magnificent St. John’s Cathedral in Downtown Cleveland. Afterwards we drove around downtown Cleveland taking photos at the Free Stamp and the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Then it was on to their gorgeous and festive reception and that dancing that I mentioned earlier. There was also a guest appearance by some dancers who specialize in traditional African dance from Burkina Faso to entertain the crowd and get the party started!
