Little Luke turns One and Evan flashback from 2006

I first met Luke’s mommy when she was working at Ann Taylor Loft and I was perusing their cute clothes while trying to keep my baby quiet! A mom’s gotta do what a mom’s gotta do, right? And this mommy needed some new clothes. Candice and I got to talking about kids and what we do to earn money and she asked if I would take photos of her little boy. Here are some great shots from my first session of Evan turning One back in 2006.

I LOVE the many different faces that kids make. Candice chose these next two images to sit side by side in an album. Too cute.

Wow, Daddy is SO BIG! I love this one.

Evan was just getting comfortable with walking, so his parents brought along a Radio Flyer wagon for the photo shoot. We got so many great shots of Evan running along. They even decorated it with his name. I LOVE personal props. They add so much to photos and they really help preserve memories of favorite stuffed animals, activities, etc.

I also took the family portrait in the fall for their holiday card, but today the session was dedicated to Luke! He is just as cute as his big brother, don’t you think! Evan got in a few frames too – I can’t resist a cutie and sibling relationships.

Loving his MOMMY!

Look at this great personality. What a cutie!

Here is my favorite though. Just look at that face. Anyone with siblings will recognize it – the total fear and inevitability of “Does he see me? I have the truck. Oh my gosh. Does he see me? When will he take this from me.”

Luke likes books too!

Happy First Birthday Luke!
